The veeOP REST API is written in Node.js, and like everything else about the veeOP is completely open source.
But, interfacing with it is easy -- and easy enough to do almost any programming language. That's why we made it a RESTful API.
Arduino Code & I²C API

It's meant to be extensible! Available as an Arduino Library, it's easy to add functionality to the on-board Arduino compatible, and extend the functionality of your veeOP, and add custom electronics.
